 Mr._Stay_Puft_Marshmallow_Man_Tattoo  Allan Martínez: Investigator/Asst. Case Manager/Public Relations

I am 28 years old. I was born in El Paso, TX, and raised in three main cities, which include our sister city to the south Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico City, and primarily El Paso.

I am currently married to a beautiful woman named Jazmin. She is my very own pin-up model and my everything. I am a proud father of one gorgeous little girl that wants to thinks that she is a monster because at any given moment, she will growl at you!

I am currently in school pursuing a degree in psychology with a possible underline of parapsychology. For as long as I could remember, I have always liked to examine and digest human behavior. I remember going to the mall with the main reason to be there is not to shop for unnecessary things, but to sit down and just, “people watch.” The human mind is such an extraordinary machine.

I have always felt an unexplained fascination with, well…the unexplained! Everything involving the fringe; something regarded as peripheral, marginal, secondary, or extreme in relation to something else. In essence, everything outside that we relate to ordinary. I’m sure if I go back and take a look at all of the books I checked out in the 8 years I attended elementary school, a good percentage of them would be something involving Ghosts, U.F.O’s, Area 51, the Bermuda Triangle, Time Travel, Psychic Ability, Vampires and Werewolves, or so on and so on. I even remember my first, “paranormal investigation,” involving 5 scared little boys (including myself) going down a pitch black tunnel in the boiler room of Zavala Elementary School with their trembling flashlights taken from their dad’s tool box. Let’s just say the end of that investigation ended very similar to the infamous library scene in the movie Ghostbusters…GET HER! We all swore we saw something, but I think collective paranoia is more of the logical explanation. I am not a skeptic, but I try not to jump to the conclusion that every little noise is a ghost. I try to think as rationally as possible, but there are things I have experienced that I simply can’t explain. Through the 15 years I resided at my grandma’s house, I have seen a little girl lying on her stomach playing with something in front of her, have felt the presence (and seen peripherally) of a 1950’s Greaser, have DISTICTLY heard someone whisper loudly, “Hey…” I even felt the warm air being exhaled as the word traveled through my left ear and down my spine…

Other interests of mine include music, movies, and TV. I am currently the only member of a musical project named MurdeRemedy (TM). What started out as an acoustic cover band, has now developed into a full-fledged original alternative rock project. Between work, school, fatherhood, and matrimony, I find time to continue the process of composing and recording a full-length CD I plan to unveil to the world sometime in the near future. I’ve come to noticed that the bulk of my movie collection consists of horror, science fiction, and folklore. TV programming interests include: Ghost Hunters (of course) (been hooked since the first episode aired October 2004), Sci Fi Channel, Discovery Channel, History Channel, and Unsolved Mysteries. They have a new version of the original show, but it’s nothing without Robert Stack.

I hope to help as many people as possible with this venture and find answers to questions I’ve always asked myself...
