From Death hunting down victims, attempting to thwart their destiny in the latest installment of the Final Destination franchise, to comely coeds meeting their grisly end in Sorority Row; Hollywood releases several new slasher films.

The Final Destination: Rest In Pieces

Despite poor ratings from the critics and decent audience reviews, the box office numbers prove the Final Destination series can still "reap" heft y profits. So far it has raked in $50,576,000, since it's August 28th release and according to Yahoo Movies is number 1 in the TOP 10 Box Office performers; followed by Quentin Tarantino's "INGLORIOUS BASTERDS".

This time it's Nick O'Bannon (played by Bobby Campo) who's pulled a fast one on death and death isn't happy. What was supposed to be a nice day out at the race track, suddenly became a nightmare, when Nick has a premonition that he and his friends die in a freak accident involving a bunch of racecars. In the nick (no pun intended) of time, he convinces his friends to leave just before disaster strikes.

Just when they think they've won a new lease on life, death has other plans. As Nicks friends are taken down one by one, it's up to him to figure out how to outsmart death once and for all.
