Hey EARP Fans, The team and I hope everyone is doing well. Just wanted to catch everyone up on what's been going on with the team. What we hoped would be an busy summer got sidelined by a number of factors. A few of our members fell victim to our troubled job market and economy, including myself. Additionally a few senior members have left the team in part, due to the loss of employment, to pursue other interests or focus on family.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank the following departing members for their dedication and hard work:

James and Karina Saunders

Allan and Jazmin Martinez

Cirilda De Leon

Randy Thrash

Rose Ortega

Dawn Ortega

Although the team is sad to see them go, we wish them all the best of luck in their future endeavors. We would also like to wish James and Karina; along with their children the best of luck in the new life in South Dakota.

Having said that the team is currently active in re-grouping and planning for the future, we'd like to welcome back Edna Carbajal who took a bried hiatus to help care for her mother, her sister Gina is also returning and our newest member Jackie Gardea. While Edna's busy getting putting new cases together I'll be posting the new team Roster soon, along with updated bios. I"ll also be putting together evidence from past investigations for everyone to enjoy.

On behalf of the team I would like to thank everyone of our fans for your continued support. Your recent emails have been encouraging and very much appreciated. I'll be posting blogs of my recent experiences in my new apartment over the next several days and some of the odd experiences I had on my recent road trips. If you or anyone you know have had personal experiences you would like to share please feel free to email me at rortega[at]alternaterealityproject.com or register and submit a story to be published. I'm sure our readers would love to hear about your Paranormal experience.

Thanks again for your support and patience.

stranger_than_fiction

You've heard the saying that  sometimes life is stranger than fiction. All I have to say is you have no idea...The team spends an extraordinary amount of time delving into the strange and unusual at ungodly hours of the night and we'll be sharing those adventures with you as time allows. However, after spending a little bit of time surfing the net and coming across some really strange but true stories. I feel compelled to share these with you. So I hope  you'll enjoy this new section in the Fringe category. As always don't hesitate to share a strange but true story you might have come across. The only rules for posting these stories is they must be clean, topical, verified to be a factual story and you must reference the original author. Thank you and enjoy!

Registered members may request to have our story submission module added to their account.

Written by Ray Ortega    Sunday, 13 September 2009 20:00    PDF Print E-mail

Editors Note: I just came a cross this article that appeared on the Sept. 4th Edition of USA TODAY.com and on the grounreport.com and it was about none other then our historical go to guy, Ken Hudnall. I thought I'd share it here for everyone to enjoy. If you're just joining our site, Ken Hudnall is a noted and award winning author with over 30 books under his belt. He is a former Spec Ops Military Officer, who specialized in Urban Warfare. We should also mention he's an honorary member of the El Paso Altnerate Reality Project and our go to guy for our historical research. Well that's enough chatter from me, Read on...

What's Coming Up For The Team?
Written by Ray Ortega    Tuesday, 08 September 2009 08:03    PDF Print E-mail

Wow, what a crazy year it's been so far and the team has definitely been busy. As many of you know the Ken Hudnall show is very much Alive and Kicking! After taking a breather for a few months, following the show's departure from KHRO 1150 AM; Ken Hudnall has returned. This time Ken's brining his show to the world via, Blog Talk Radio.com. Returning guests on the show are Yolie, who continues her popular Monday segment, Psychic Robert McNight returns to his Thursday segment with Ken and the popular Friday show with yours truly, The El Paso Alternate Reality Project!

We're definately excited to be back and are grateful for the response we've received. We're also very happy to see some regular callers keeping in touch with us! If you haven't heard Ken's shows, now's a good time to start. Even if you don't believe a paranormal world exists, that big brother is watching, aliens have and are visiting our planet, you'll find yourself hooked and entertained! So we hope you'll give it a listen sometime and feel free to join in on the conversation, no matter what your school of thought might be. Ken's show is a place where all opinions and ideas are welcomed and encouraged.

Aside from our return to the Ken Hudnall Show, what's next? Well as you know our summer was filled with a few investigations, with a residential investigation in Fort Bliss, investigations at City Hall and a return to ASARCO. Our fall is shaping up to be even busier.

The DVD, about our recent ASARCO investigations; is still in production and we hope to have a release date announced soon. But the ASARCO adventure doesn't end there, the team still has more work to do there, we just hope the demoltion gods don't invade too soon.

But the fun is just getting started! Next up for the Alternate Reality Project:

A new and super secret Downtown location being worked out by Ken Hudnall!

Reveals for both City Hall and ASARCO coming soon!

NewsChannel 9 Investigation. The boss is going to let us setup our gear again this year and hope we come back wtih some great footage to show you.

Two more Downtown investigations to be announced soon! :-) (Don't you just love the smoke and mirror thing?)

Plus the teams first ever Road Trip as we head out to a secret hotspot in Albuquerque, New Mexico!!

Then of course our beautiful and tenacious Case management team led by Karina Saunders are hard at work with a few surprises!

Look for all this to happen this fall!
