Written by Ray Ortega    Wednesday, 24 February 2010 17:02    PDF Print E-mail

on August of 2009 E.A.R.P. sent two senior memebers to Eastern State Penitentiary, the legendary and historic landmark; not only famous for having housed the notorious gangster, Al Capone. But for its ghost stories. It's reported that even Al Capone himself had paranormal experiences there. Case Manager, Karina Saunders and James Saunders, our Tech Manager were more than eager to make the trip to scope things out in advance of a possible investigation.

They not only had some interesting stories to share, but brought along some interesting photos as well.

Hope you enjoy the pics and feel free to share your comments with us ;-)

It's that time of year again...All Hallows Eve is fast approaching. For many, especially those with children, thoughts will be turning to trick or treating, what costumes to wear and for some it's a Halloween Party. Yet for many religious Christian or Pagan it's a day for religious observance. For folks in our line of work it's another opportunity for an investigation! Our destination? NewsChannel 9!

As many of you know, I work there and have enjoyed nearly 3 years of working with some very talented individuals and EARP did a small investigation there last year. While our results were inconclusive, I couldn't shake the personal experiences I've had over the time I've been there, the stories my friends; who had worked there before me shared or the recent revelations many of my co-workers shared with me over the past several weeks.

So I sat down with our General Mgr. Gary Sotir and talked about doing another investigation on a slightly larger scale...As I had hoped he was more than supportive, if a bit skeptical. But getting the green light was all the team and I needed to hear.

Over the next several weeks, we'll be conducting walkthroughs, interviews and "mini investigations" leading up to the big night. We hope you'll stick around to get updates on our progress and personal experiences from some of the stations staff and EARP team members!

To our fellow investigators and paranormal groups, Happy Hunting!
